This song is a very personal take on prayer for me. In the first half I strive to give it the intimate vulnerable feeling I associate with the moment that you are called to prayer; often in need or in pain or fear.

And for the second half of the song I wanted to to express my feelings about prayer and how important I think it is. So often prayer gets a bad rap as people roll their eyes at those offering thoughts and prayers As long as you are actually praying your energy directed towards the help of others is incredibly valuable. The most important lyric of this song is 'We are Heard' because I know so often we may feel unheard... My deepest knowing is that we *are* heard and its important to keep the communication between yourself and your divine source open and flowing.
